The Pelvic Floor

The pelvic floor forms the base of your deep core muscles and acts as a sling to support your internal organs. It works with your abdominal muscles, your back muscle and your diaphragm to support your spine and to control the pressure inside your abdomen.

Bladder Diary

Guided by your physiotherapist please complete this bladder diary for two consecutive days so we can gain a better understanding of your bladder function to guide our treatment.

First Six Weeks

Regardless of the type of birth you had, your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles weaken with pregnancy and need strengthening. They can be safely started 2-3 days postnatal.
