Physiotherapy for Children

Bump Kids offers home visit physiotherapy for children across a wide range of ages, from newborns and into adulthood (0-18 year olds). These services are tailored specifically to the needs of growing young bodies and are designed to address any developing health issues whilst also seeking to prevent any futures ones.

At Bump Fitness we assess and track your child’s development with assessment tools and work with NDIS to provide services to support the needs of your child.

We can prescribe programs to improve coordination, posture and physical function with a range of fun activities and toys. Paediatric Physiotherapy can help with a range of conditions including musculoskeletal, developmental, neurological, orthopaedic and cardiorespiratory.

Some specific conditions include:

  • Plagiocephaly
  • Developmental delays
  • Low muscle tone
  • Sports conditioning
  • Weight management
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Musculoskeletal conditions

 

Group Classes

Group classes offer your child social inclusion and community involvement and is led by a qualified physiotherapist with paediatric training. Classes are a fun mix of dance, gymnastics and aerials on apparatus’ such as hammocks, hoops and poles to address gross motor, fine motor, balance and coordination.

Monday 4:00pm – 5:00pm (60min) – 6 – 11 YEARS AERIAL HAMMOCK / SILKS / LYRA

Monday 4:30pm – 5:30pm (60min) – 12 – 16 YEARS AERIAL HAMMOCK / SILKS / LYRA

$190 for a 10-week term, run during the school term.

Or privately by appointment at Rokh Fit Studio – 2/19 Township Drive, Burleigh Heads QLD


TINY TOTS

We don’t run these classes currently, however we’re able to do private 1:1 or group classes by appointment. These classes are Paediatric physio led using aerial hammocks, silks, lyra, pole, gymnastics and dance to challenge balance, coordination, full body strength and mobility. Open to all abilities and are NDIS registered.
Tiny Tots Group sessions / parties are priced at $35 per child for 90 mins. (Minimum 5 children.)
